Rodney hasn’t had much luck with women and now, thanks to the interference of Nicola and Bernice (pictured, with Rodney between them), it’s all over between him and Misty. Furious when he learns they lied to her, he collapses. That leather thong he’s had round his neck for 18 years won’t have done much for his breathing, and now his life hangs in the balance.

Bernice is distracted by Dr Cavanagh. It doesn’t take much to put her hormones in a tizzy, and she gets very flustered at the sight of the hunky medic. Charity prepares to tell the family about Ryan and is organising a special dinner to do so – beware low-flying cutlery.
