In the wake of recent shocking events, Alicia (Chelsea Halfpenny) decides to return to work earlier than expected – too early, for some of her more anxious colleagues. With Ethan (George Rainsford) fussing around like a mother hen, Alicia is grateful when Connie comes to the rescue and declares her medical lead for the day. Starting out distracted by the thought of Eddie’s hearing, Alicia soon gets herself into gear when four children arrive in the ED following a car accident – and by the end of the shift, she’s come to a major decision about her future.
