I started off doing impressions – I worked on Spitting Image. Behind the scenes, the others get me to do people like Billie Holiday and Brian Blessed. I voiced

Danger Mouse with Brian – during recording he’d always read the page number at the bottom of the script so we’d have to start the whole page again.
We get through around 250 voices in the series. There are lots of hybrid impressions – like Debra Stephenson memorably doing Theresa May rapping and twerking like pop star Iggy Azalea!

As host, I try to keep things light and friendly – on some panel shows people want to tread on each other’s toes.

In one round, two impressionists and a celebrity are behind a screen talking in the celebrity’s voice, while another contestant has to work out who’s the real celebrity. Sometimes an impressionist can do a celebrity’s voice better than the celebrity can!
