Lucille Ball’s follow-up to I Love Lucy ran in the wake of her divorce from Desi Arnaz, from 1962-68. Desi’s absence aside, it’s a similar kind of show, with Ball as a widowed mum who strikes up a friendship with a nutty divorcee (Vivian Vance, from I Love Lucy).
