The BFG (Boxing Day) Steven Spielberg knew he’d found his Big Friendly Giant (right) when he worked with actor Mark Rylance on Bridge Of Spies. They have since become firm friends, and Spielberg bears no grudge against Rylance, who had turned him down 30 years previously when he’d offered him a part in Empire Of The Sun.
