A finely acted one-off about the resurgence of Morecambe and Wise, as fuelled by the writing of Eddie Braben (Stephen Tompkinson, left). It was an intense partnership that left Braben – as their sole writer – a nervous wreck, and is brought to the screen with some lovely touches here.
