This ITV drama from 1979 has weathered well. Anthony Andrews (left) stars as an MG-driving, newly commissioned officer posted to a bomb disposal unit during the Blitz. It’s very much a ‘learning on the job’ situation, and there’s plenty of gallows humour as a result.
