One of the few good news stories of the coronaviru­s crisis was Captain Tom Moore’s incredible fundraisin­g efforts, which brought in millions for the NHS. This charming documentar­y features newly knighted Sir Tom telling his life story for the first time. Not to be missed.

IF YOU WANT NEW COMEDY... MANDY THURSDAY, 9.30PM, BBC2

Motherland’s Diane Morgan (right) is the brains behind this new comedy, writing, directing and starring as the title character. Mandy is a young woman with big dreams, but events keep conspiring to stop her from turning them into reality. Maxine Peake guest stars in the opening double bill.
