2019 VENTOUX ROSÉ, CHASSAUX ET FILS, FRANCE

Aldi is a low-margin outfit and this rosé is a little different to the masses in style, given it is a foodier, more robust fellow. Structured and dry, and rather more like a light red in stature, it is a demon with the Tuna Nicoise With

Charred Fennel dish.

The Wine Society is famed for low margins and this Spanish red would be north of £10 elsewhere. Valencia’s bobal grape makes it a treat, loaded with blueberry and plum notes, and minty highlights!
