Making the move from digital channel Dave to Ch4 is the show that pits comedians against each other in a series of absurd tasks. From their ornate thrones, master of tasks Greg Davies (pictured) and his assistant, Alex Horne, dish out the challenges to Daisy May Cooper, Katherine Parkinson, Johnny Vegas, Mawaan Rizwan and Richard Herring. Now in its tenth series, it’s fun to watch not just because the tasks are silly, but also in the execution, as the comics come up with (mostly) inventive ways of making the magic happen.

UGLY HOUSE TO LOVELY HOUSE WITH GEORGE CLARKE

8PM, CH4 ★★★ Back for a new series, George shows homeowners how to make do and me nd. in the pretty Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney, the outdated home of Fiona and Hugh stands out like a sore thumb. But is the modern design of architect Greg Blee too much for the local planners?

9PM, BBC2 ★★★★ Statesman, showman, salesman or madman? This three-part series meets the people who have known and worked with Donald Trump over the years. As he fights for his second term in office, this is a colourful portrait of a man who was, apparently, as surprised as the rest of us to be elected President of the United States.

MO GILLIGAN: BLACK BRITISH AND FUNNY

10PM, CH4 ★★★★ Celebrations of Black History Month continue with this tour of the black comedy circuit in Britain, presented by Mo, the social media sensation turned TV regular. He looks back on pioneers including Angie Le Mar, from sketch show The Real Mccoy, and Mo’s standup hero Danny ‘Slim’ Gray. SA
