9PM, SKY ATLANTIC ★★★ The war for dominance between Ax (Damian Lewis, left) and Rhoades (Paul Giamatti) resumes in the new, fifth season of this US drama. Their bickering is getting a bit tiresome now, so the arrival of swaggering new financial titan Michael Prince (Corey Stoll), who has his own devious agenda, is well-timed in this opener.

MINORITY REPORT

9PM, FOX ★★★

This new, ten-episode US drama turns the crime-predicting concept of Steven Spielberg’s futuristic film into a buddy-cop drama, co-starring the charismatic Wilmer Valderrama of NCIS (far left). The show is more concerned with flash than substance, but it does the flash very well.

HENDRIX & HANDEL: URBAN MYTHS

10PM, SKY ARTS ★★★★ For a time, Jimi Hendrix lived in Handel’s London home, and this new Urban Myth delves into a connection between the two. It’s the funniest of the run so far, with David Haig excellent as Handel (left), a man in the gutter, looking up at the stars; Zach Wyatt is charmingly innocent as Hendrix. RW

9AM, RADIO 4 HHHH

Is impartiality the ultimate goal of good journalism? Or does refusing to take a stand hinder the reporting of the truth? LBC presenter and author James O’brien and the former head of BBC Television News, Roger Mosey, have very different views on this heated issue as Anne Mcelvoy discovers when she invites them to not only debate the topic, but also to see whether they can ultimately find any common ground between their radically opposing opinions.

THE TRUMP SHOW

9PM, BBC2 ★★★★

This insightful series now examines year two of Trump’s Presidency as his past comes back to haunt him in the form of allegations by adult film star Stormy Daniels, among other scandals. But the potentially career-ending dramas don’t seem to damage his polling power too much, as we see how resilient he is.
