Peter White, the blind broadcaster, is often stopped in the street by charlatans and snake oil salesmen. They see his white stick and offer to give him, by means only known to them, his sight back. Peter, usually a well-mannered gent, gives them a piece of his mind and sends them on their way.

In this broadcast, Peter talks about his encounters with fake healers, and goes back to the Middle Ages to uncover the long, dodgy history of miracle cures.
