It’s now a quarter of a century old, but Andrew Davies’s adaptation, with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth (left), remains undimmed, and the furore over the changes it made to Jane Austen’s novel (especially the ending) is long forgotten. Enjoy the whole thing this afternoon.
