Morven Christie returns as DC Lisa Armstrong (right) for a new series of the crime drama set in Morecambe. She got results in the last series, but paid a heavy price after her messy love life threatened to compromise the case. Demoted and on probation, Lisa is assigned to community policing, and faces derogatory quips from her colleagues.
But when a local man is shot on his doorstep, Lisa gets the chance to redeem herself and, despite having to defer to colleagues she previously outranked, she quickly proves that she’s a true detective.

The soggy landscape of Lincolnshire’s reclaimed marshlands create major challenges for this week’s project. Local boy Nathan is building a huge home for three generations of his family, modelled on the area’s Dutch barn-style structures. That’s if constant rain and a rising water table will let him. SA
