Filming A Discovery Of Witches in a raging storm proved a trial for Sheila Hancock. ‘The cameras on cranes were swaying – it was really scary,’ says Sheila, 87, who plays witch Goody Alsop (pictured) in the Sky One series. ‘We had to walk through slippery, rainsoaked mud and I remember thinking, “I’m too old for this!”’
