Best Home Cook, the challenge show that celebrates proper family food rather than high-falutin’ haute cuisine, is back on our screens – but not as we know it. Claudia Winkleman returns as the host, while the judging panel still consists of Mary Berry, Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett and fresh produce importer turned TV presenter Chris Bavin, but for the first time we’ll see ten celebrities competing for the title.

Producers have also had to make sure that the set is Covidsafe enough for everyone – in particular 85-year-old Mary. That means socially distanced workstations and no consolatory hugs. Here, Kathryn Knight tells you all you need to know...
