SO WHO’S TAKING PART?

Among the ten competing celebrities are broadcaster and ex-shadow Chancellor Ed Balls, former Wales rugby captain Gareth Thomas, journalist and prime ministerial sibling Rachel Johnson, comedian Ed Byrne, ex-coronation Street actor Shobna Gulati, comedian Desiree Burch and reality star Ferne Mccann, and Mary says she’s enjoyed seeing their individual personalities emerge as time goes on.

‘We have those that can sing, those that can dance, those that take things terribly seriously and have to be nudged to bring out their humour. And I also think it’s been lovely to have someone like the actor Ruth Madeley who uses a wheelchair. She’s coped brilliantly, encouraged by all the others. I think it’s a very well-balanced team.’
