JOANNA LUMLEY’S HOME SWEET HOME – TRAVELS IN MY OWN LAND

8PM, ITV ★★★★

For the final leg of her personal tour around Britain, Joanna starts in Blaenau Ffestiniog in Wales, where she explores the landscape created by Victorian slate miners. En route back to London, she stops off in the Brecon Beacons, explores cider country and visits St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall. And, in the capital, Joanna has a heart-warming encounter with 95-year-old Allan Wilmot (right), of the Windrush generation, who formed a band that performed with Shirley Bassey and Tommy Steele.

CELEBRITY BEST HOME COOK

9PM, BBC1 ★★★★ The four remaining cooks have to get through tonight’s challenges – a fish supper for Mary Berry and mushroom dishes for Chris Bavin – for a place in tomorrow’s final. But all eyes and taste buds are on the Eliminator – and Angela Hartnett is taking no prisoners. Who will pull off making pasta from scratch?

FORENSICS: THE REAL CSI

9PM, BBC2 ★★★★

A 15-year-old is fatally stabbed in a park in Coventry and, as the team collect evidence at the scene, it becomes clear that the murder weapon is not among the items they’ve found. The focus turns to two key pieces – a mobile phone and the victim’s blood-soaked jacket. Can science lead West Midlands Police to the killer?
