Howzat for entertainment!

Thank you, Channel 4, for broadcasting live coverage of the whole of the first Test Match, which saw England [captained by the high-scoring Joe Root, pictured] achieve an emphatic victory over India at Chennai. It’s been a pleasure to set my alarm for 3.45 each morning to soak up the vibrant atmosphere, the entertaining commentary – and of course the outstanding cricket.
