Across two parts, we see David Baddiel mentoring an uninspired Reverend Richard Coles, and Jason Manford is paired with wayward Shaun Ryder (right), whose mind often goes blank. Zoe Lyons supports Corrie’s Katie Mcglynn, who struggles without a script, and Judi Love tries to rein in lively dancer Curtis Pritchard. And Tory peer Baroness Sayeeda Warsi is reluctantl­y aided by Nick Helm.

9PM, BBC2 ★★★★ Twin doctors Chris and Xand van Tulleken, along with Dr Guddi Singh, take us through how viruses mutate and the effect of this on vaccines, as well as how super-spreading can be controlled. It’s a really interestin­g watch to help us to better understand the latest science behind Covid-19.

9PM, ITV ★★★★ She may have hosted her own chat show where guests bared all, but now, it’s time for Trisha Goddard to reflect on her life. In a very honest chat, Trisha talks about her three failed marriages, surviving breast cancer, racism and her mental health struggles. She also shares the joys of her long TV career. TESSA JONES
