MAX CLIFFORD: THE FALL OF A TABLOID KING
9PM, CH4 ★★★★
Throughout the 1980s and beyond, if you wanted to raise your public profile or had a kiss-and-tell story to sell, Max Clifford (right), who died in 2017, was the media relations man you went to. His famous clients included Simon Cowell and Jade Goody, and he enjoyed a public profile of his own. But in 2014, his hugely influential bubble burst when he was jailed for historic sex crimes. This documentary, featuring newly revealed audio recordings of Clifford, tells the story of the women he abused and who bravely brought him to account.
