Suave doctor Max Liebermann (Matthew Beard) and gruff police detective Oskar Rheinhardt (Jurgen Maurer, right) are back on the streets of 1900s Vienna for a second series of the atmospheric crime drama. The first case for the mismatched duo begins when a widowed Hungarian countess is found drowned in her bath at a luxury hotel. It is revealed that she had been suffering from depression, but when it’s discovered that she was poisoned, Liebermann and Rheinhardt join forces to solve the riddle of why anyone would want the countess dead.
