PICK OF THE DAY
DEATH IN PARADISE
9PM, BBC1 ★★★★
This week, Neville (Ralf Little, right) investigates the murder of reggae rap artist Infamous T, aka 22-year-old Trenton Isaac. He was shot dead – in the dark, and with pinpoint accuracy – during a sound check. Neville’s never heard of reggae rap, and Marlon’s right when he says that Neville is getting more English the longer he stays on the island. Marlon also knows the woman identified as the prime suspect in Trenton’s murder, and he’s certain she’s not a killer. Izzy, meanwhile, makes a big decision about the baby, leaving big brother Neville with mixed feelings.
YOUR GARDEN MADE PERFECT
8PM, BBC2 ★★★ In Enfield, London, Debi and Des have been peering out at their bland garden for years. It’s hard to know what to do with it – it’s set on a massive slope – and the plot has mostly been used as an outdoor gym for Des. Designers Oliver Bond and Helen Elks-smith bring ideas to turn it into a space the whole family can enjoy.
GEORGE CLARKE’S AMAZING SPACES 8PM, CH4 ★★★
In another episode packed with inspiration for small spaces, George visits a floating home in Nottingham, and meets two teens who are making a break from their family by building their own mobile homes. Back at the secret-garden studio flat, George and craftsman Will Hardie create some magic.
SUSAN CALMAN’S GRAND DAY OUT
8PM, CH5 ★★★ This week, Susan is back on home turf, taking camper van Helen for a tour around the Scottish glens. From the scenic shores of Loch Leven, Susan gets a motorbike escort through Glen Coe, and forages for her lunch at Lochearnhead. She also finds time for axethrowing, powerboating and paddleboarding. Phew! SA
