PICK OF THE DAY
QUEENS OF MYSTERY
★★★
There’s only so much Midsomer Murders to go around, so that’s where shows such as this and Sky’s Agatha Raisin come in. Julie Graham (right), Sarah Woodward and Siobhan Redmond star as three crimewriting sisters who live in the picturesque English village of Wildemarsh – all three are aunts to DS Mattie Stone, and her arrival in their cosy hamlet in this first episode is the starting gun for much mystery-solving. Wildemarsh is a colourful world full of lively sorts and, if you like it, there are two whole series to be found on demand, on Acorn TV.

The much-anticipated Best In Show final is tomorrow from 7pm.

Past mistakes cast a long shadow in the ED tonight, particularly in the case of a woman with aphantasia and her friend with liver damage. Aphantasia means that a person cannot form images of something in their head – it comes from the Greek for ‘without imagination’, which seems harsh.
