This repeat comedy drama is broadcast today ahead of a new series following the warring sisters. The original drama wasn’t great, but improvement is always possible.

This weekly five-part thriller gets off to a cracking start.
Greg (Paul Mallon) hosts a truecrime podcast that’s dedicated to uncovering the identity of a serial killer who is known by the name of Dead Hand, and was active in Northern Ireland 20 years
ago. Now, a series of codes and sinister transmissions leads Greg to think that Dead Hand is back.
THE CULT OF KING TUT 2.30PM, RADIO 4 EXTRA
Howard Carter opened King Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922, with the photographer Harry Burton recording every stage.
Burton’s photographs then appeared in newspapers around the world, and images of the dead young king’s tomb stirred up painful memories of the graves of all those young men killed in the First World War. The historian Patricia Clavin looks at the strange cult of Egyptomania that rose out of the tomb’s opening.

★★★★ Ghostwatch, a spoof documentary about a haunted house, was broadcast on BBC1 on Halloween night in 1992. Despite the fact that one of the so-called ghosts was Craig Charles jumping out of a cupboard, thousands of viewers were taken in. Film critics Ellen E. Jones and Mark Kermode look at Ghostwatch and other on-screen hoaxes as this series returns. SJ
