HARRY & MEGHAN: WHAT NEXT? 8.30PM, CH5 ★★★

When Prince Harry married

Meghan Markle in 2018, their story felt like a modern-day fairytale. But since then, we’ve had Megxit, their bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview, a Netflix documentary and Harry’s no-details-spared memoir. Ahead of the King’s Coronation in May, this special show attempts to answer some big questions:

Will the Sussexes attend the ceremony? Where do royal relations with the couple go from here? And can they ever come home?

MAGPIE MURDERS 9.25PM, BBC1

★★★★ Episode one of Anthony Horowitz’s playful murder-mysterywithin-a-murder-mystery ended with book editor Susan (played by a lively Lesley Manville, right) preparing to zip off in a red convertible to find the missing final chapter of Alan Conway’s detective novel after he dies suddenly. Now, it turns out there are parallels between the late writer’s death and his final manuscript – in this second episode, the action jumps between both stories, with Susan and Conway’s fictional detective Atticus Pund beginning to follow the leads.
