REUNION HOTEL 8PM, BBC2

★★★★

Alex Jones (below) takes her seat at the Welsh hotel for a second helping of tear-jerking get-togethers. The Fabs were the first all-female band from Wales who toured the world in their 1960s heyday. But one Swedish boy band left a lasting impression on the girls and now, 54 years after they last met, they are hoping that the

Moonlighters will make the journey from Stockholm to north Wales so the two bands can make sweet music again. Simon, meanwhile, wants to show his appreciation to the addiction clinic worker who gave him the support and belief to overcome his problems, and Ellie, who survived the Manchester Arena attack when she was just 13 years old, wants to say thank you to the music teacher who helped her through those dark times.

THE DOG ACADEMY 8PM, CH4

The expert trainers have an unusual case this week when they meet owner Ken, who is terrified of dogs – including his own! But he’s not alone: so is his 18-month-old cockapoo Freddie. Ken’s wife Debbie is hoping the trainers can fix husband and dog and restore harmony to the family home. Making a racket is Jack Russell Bertie, who loves to bark, and his brothers Sherlock, Dobbie and Gizmo are only too eager to join the chorus. Can trainers Nanci and Jo silence this cacophonous quartet?

LONG LOST FAMILY: WHAT HAPPENED NEXT 9PM, ★★★★

ITV1

More emotional reunions, this time as Davina Mccall and Nicky Campbell catch up two searchers who both found family in a different country.

But did Roy David stay in touch with daughter Cheryl, whom he found in New York in 2021 after 50 years apart? And what happened to Maria Costantino after she discovered a large family in Italy in 2018?

TASKMASTER 9PM, CH4 ★★★

Only in this wackiest of wacky shows would you see Jenny Eclair sitting on a chair, with new potatoes cascading on to her head. Don’t ask! Ivo Graham (below), meanwhile, has hand-crafted a model of host Greg Davies’s face out of chocolates before the five comedians are challenged to exit a caravan exactly 20 minutes after they entered it.

It’s all incredibly silly – just how Taskmaster fans like it.

RABBIT HOLE 10PM, CH5 ★★★★

Can anyone be trusted? Who is really in charge? What is truth? These are the questions that plague industrial espionage expert John Weir (Kiefer Sutherland) as he finds himself framed for murder and on the run from friends and enemies alike in an exciting eightepisode thriller. Rabbit Hole sees Sutherland releasing the same inner action man that powered his stint as Jack Bauer on 24 – the type of guy who is determined to get things done, no matter what the cost. You can see the first episode on Ch5, but you will have to subscribe to Paramount+ to see the rest.
