-

9PM, ITV1

Is Dr Lucinda in way over her head? It certainly seems that way in the fifth and final instalment of this medical thriller from the team behind Line Of Duty. Irish actor Niamh Algar gives a career-making performance as the troubled A&E doctor who is on a mission to clear her name, turning detective to trace the prescription drugs that are causing unexpected overdoses. But as she uncovers a wider conspiracy at work, the stakes only get higher. Can Lucinda convince anyone that she’s being framed when she’s so flawed herself? Don’t expect a relaxing Sunday night watch, this is TV that will raise your heart rate until the closing credits. ITV are yet to confirm if there will be a second series, but they certainly should!

9PM, CH5

This eye-opening house-swap show, which explores Britain’s wealth divide, returns for a new series. Multimillionaire Barrie and husband Scott hand over the keys to their £6 million mansion, which comes with a private chef and chauffeurdriven Rolls-royce – nice for some, eh? – to Ocean, a single-mum from Essex who survives on £60 per week with her eight-year-old daughter. Ocean dreams of opening a Caribbean food business, and tries to impress Barrie’s demanding friends with her culinary skills. This emotional episode ends with a very big surprise.

10.20PM, ITV1

★★★ ‘I am attempting in my own modest way to get Julian out of the s***,’ says the straight-talking John Shipton, father of Julian Assange, in a documentary that depicts the realities of the campaign to free the controversial Wikileaks founder (above). It focuses on the relentless work of Shipton – a fascinating character who’s both abrupt and intelligent – as well as Assange’s then fiancee, Stella Moris, who join forces to advocate for Assange on the global stage. Assange, who is currently in London’s Belmarsh prison, faces a 175-year sentence if extradited to the US. Whatever you think about his actions, this is a thoughtful portrayal of a family taking on the Goliaths of the world to save someone they love.
