A CHRISTMAS CRUISE WITH SUSAN CALMAN

9PM, CH5 ★★★ Susanisona very important mission to deliver Christmas lists to Santa Claus, but it’s not easy to reach his home in Lapland, northern Finland. You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone more excited by such a festive expedition – which involves planes, trains, a ship and a snowmobile – than Susan. She has a big, childlike grin as she sees the lights in Stockholm, samples rich hot chocolate and meets elves and reindeer. on inside the Royal Albert Hall. Cher headlined the fundraiser, which also featured music from Rick Astley, Ted Lasso’s Hannah Waddingham and piano maestro Lang Lang. Plus, this year’s Britain’s Got Talent winner Viggo Venn (above, with BGT’S Ant and Dec) performs a comedy routine.

WHERE IS BABY GABRIEL?

This three-part true-crime series explores black-market adoptions through the sad case of a missing child called Gabriel, who was last seen in San Antonio, Texas, in 2009, when he was just seven months old. The last person with Gabriel was his mother, Elizabeth Johnson, who initially confessed to killing her son. But Elizabeth later retracted her confession and, in this twisty documentary, FBI agents, private investigators, journalists and family members try to establish whether Gabriel was secretly given up for adoption. The first part begins with Elizabeth’s difficult back story before we learn more about the investigation in detail in parts two and three, which air straight afterwards.
