ROYAL BAFOKENG STADIUM
Altitude: 1,500m above sea level Built: 1999
Capacity: 44,530 Venue of England’s opening game on Friday. Named after local tribe, the Bafokeng, whose crocodile symbol is plastered around the £70million stadium. Only a 25-minute drive away from the tourist delights of Sun City but suburb where it is set, Phokeng, has just one bar. A running track around the pitch means fans are quite far from the action.
