STEWART GRANGER is an oft-neglected matinée idol, who here stars alongside his then wife, Jean Simmons (pictured below) in an effective and stylish thriller. Granger bumps off his nagging wife, only to find his maid (Simmons) is all too quick to jump into her shoes, as mistress of the house — and him.
FILM: I DREAM OF MURDER,
TV-MOVIE regular Jolene Blalock (of Star Trek: Enterprise fame) plays a therapist who — yes, you guessed correctly — treats a patient who dreams of her own murder. When the patient is indeed killed, Blalock risks her career and marriage, and sets out to solve the mystery.

THE series ends with a possible medical explanation for the demise of the boy king’s dynasty — a genetic condition that would have been exacerbated by marrying within the bloodline.

AFTER rather a lighthearted run of episodes, it’s good to see the dark side of Wisteria Lane returning to the fore, with not one but two murderers making their presence felt tonight. When Patrick (John Barrowman) engineers his first meeting with an unwitting Danny (Beau Mirchoff, below right, with Barrowman), it’s clear he’s not in the running for a touching father- son reunion. Meanwhile, Gaby makes a spontaneous offer to Bob and Lee that backfires, and Lynette and Preston discover the truth about Irina. Elsewhere, Susan is shocked to discover the true extent of Mike’s money problems, Andrew and Sam continue their verbal jousting, and, when Julie’s attacker strikes again, a killer is revealed…
