ART HISTORY Sex & Sensibilit­y: The Allure Of Art Nouveau, 9pm, BBC4 STEPHEN SMITH charts the movement’s peak in fin-de-siecle Vienna, as seen in the sensual images of Gustav Klimt, including The Kiss, and the vivid patterns of Koloman Moser. But it was the earthy paintings of Egon Schiele that had a lasting impact on modern art.

SCI-FI MOVIE

NEW CRIME DRAMA

King, 10pm, Universal HOMICIDE cop Jessica King (Amy Price-francis) doesn’t care about being liked, but she does get results, so her bosses put her in charge of Toronto’s Major Crimes Task Force in this new series, starting tonight with the case of a missing girl. A feisty heroine adds zest to the familiar police fare.

FILM DRAMA

Boys Don’t Cry, 10pm, Sky Indie THE painful but hopeful true story of Brandon Teena, a young woman who adopted a male identity and was murdered after dating another woman. Superb Hilary Swank won an Oscar as Brandon.
