My 24-carat proof of lover’s betrayal, by Tamara
TAMARA Ecclestone yesterday produced evidence ‘proving’ her former boyfriend had cheated on her.
Omar Khyami, 38, had claimed that a sordid tape showing him in bed with another woman was made before he met the daughter of Formula One billionaire Bernie.
But she said the film showed him wearing two gifts from her – matching Cartier love bracelets together worth £63,000.
‘There was a yellow gold one that I bought him at the beginning of our relationship,’ said the 28-year-old. ‘Then there was a white gold one that I bought him a year ago in Harrods.
‘So I knew that this video had to be in the time we were living together.’
Miss Ecclestone said that following Thursday’s break-up she realised her two-and-ahalf-year relationship with a man she had spoken of marrying was unusual.
She said they had not had sex in a year, adding: ‘There were times I would think, “What can I do? I’ve got to go on a diet”.’
In March, Miss Ecclestone stood by Mr Khyami after the Daily Mail revealed that he had been jailed in 1 4 for selling Rolexes stolen from a jewellery store.
Miss Ecclestone, who with her younger sister Petra stands to inherit her father’s £2.4billion fortune, said his jail term was the result of a youthful ‘mistake’.
There was no such forgiveness when the grainy 30-second sex video was sent to her father’s offices in London.
Miss Ecclestone has kicked Mr Khyami out of her £45million home but is letting him keep the Cartier jewellery, watches worth £82,000, a £76,000 Range Rover and a £123,000 Bentley.
Syrian-born Mr Khyami insists the video is part of a plot to split up the couple.
