Crunch time
FolloWing controversy about the low amount of crisps in Walkers bags (Mail), i opened one of its Salt and Shake bags and emptied the crisps onto the scales, set at zero. There were 18g in the bag — but the weight shown on the label is 24g.
Surely it’s illegal to mislead buyers like this? Purchasers of goods are regularly suffering from terrible labelling especially on food, but i now have evidence of short changing and i’m shocked. EmIlY ROWBOTHam,
