HISTORY beckons but it was business as usual last night for Steven Gerrard and Ashley Cole (inset) as both trained in preparation for their 99th England cap. Only five players (Billy Wright, Bobby Moore, Sir Bobby Charlton, Peter Shilton and David Beckham) have ever reached the magic 100 appearances for England — so manager Roy Hodgson will be trusting there’s no evidence of the ‘nervous nineties’ this evening.
