POLAND admit the surface at the new national stadium in Warsaw is not the best. A new pitch was rolled out at the start of the month after a Coldplay gig in the stadium and has not settled well. ‘There may be unpredictable situations,’ said Polish coach Waldemar Fornalik. ‘The ball can bounce off differently.’
