This cad broke her heart — then ran off with her kidney
Message for Mr andy Lamb. Your wife wants her kidney back. and she doesn’t mean the one in the Fray Bentos pie.
after selflessly donating a kidney to her husband in 2009, Mrs samantha Lamb (pictured with her spouse) was understandably aggrieved when he left her two years later. He moved his belongings out of the marital home in Ivybridge, Devon, when she was doing her Tesco night shift, the brute. and he took the telly and the stereo with him, along with one of her vital organs. How could he be so awful? easily. after denying having an affair with her friend, Mr Lamb said: ‘I never wanted her to donate her kidney.’ Maybe not, but he didn’t turn it down, did he? Meanwhile Mrs Lamb has said: ‘I want my kidney back to give to someone else.’ and they say that romance is dead. still, you have to wonder about some men, particularly those who do not deserve the magnificent women who love and care for them and donate their vital organs without a second’s thought. Particularly those men who have a shaky grasp of what is and is not chivalrous — or even acceptable!
This week, a wealthy London businessman was bemused after being hit with a delayed claim for divorce millions from his ex-wife. They had happily coexisted in the same house post-divorce for a few years. Until he moved his new woman in — and asked his ex-wife if she fancied being their housekeeper. ‘I can’t understand why she became so aggressive,’ he cheeped. Really, he’s lucky she didn’t wipe the floor with him — in more ways than one. It is the thoughtlessness of the humiliation that is so killing. The casual way the denouement is delivered. Look at Valerie Trierweiler, the heartbroken and usurped former partner of French President Francois Hollande.
Upon discovering her lover’s treachery with a blonde actress, Valerie was prompted to smash up the elysee Palace, spend a week in hospital and then jet off to India to hug orphans.
‘I will survive,’ she has sobbed. she will. and at least she still has both kidneys.
