‘Bomb shops in UK on Fridays’
Al QAEDA has published a manual calling on would-be jihadists in the UK to bomb department stores – but only on Friday afternoons when Muslims are praying in mosques.
The online guide, written in English, includes instructions on how to build home-made bombs and suggests a number of other high-profile targets in Britain and the United States, including Sandhurst Military Academy, the MI5 headquarters in London, Times Square in New York and any international holiday resorts used by Western guests and Israelis.
Entitled ‘Palestine: Betrayal of the Guilty Conscience Al-Malahem’, the well-produced digital magazine includes a nine-page section on how to ‘make a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom,’ as well as features on car bombs and a celebratory timeline of terror attacks in the West, which ends with the entry ‘201?’ – indicating new terror attacks are planned.
The ‘magazine’ focuses on preparing would-be terrorists for so- called ‘lone wolf’ attacks – thought to be the group’s new preferred method as Western intelligence makes life difficult for organised terror cells.
It says: ‘If you are sincere in your intentions to serve the religion of Allah, then all what you have to do is enter your kitchen and make an explosive device that would damage the enemy if you put your trust in Allah and then use this explosive device properly.’
