Beauty queen ‘on run with £120k tiara’

-

A BEAUTY queen has allegedly disappeared with a tiara worth up to £120,000 after being stripped of her title.

May Myat Noe, 18, was named Miss Asia Pacific World in May. The pageant’s sponsors then paid £6,000 for a breast enhancement, supposedly to help the 5ft 7in Burmese, pictured, to become a pop star. David Kim, the contest’s director of media, said ‘We thought she should be more beautiful ... so we sent her to the hospital to operate on her breasts.’

The pageant organisers complained that her ten-day visit to South Korea turned into a costly three-month stay. She ‘never had respect for the organisation ... or fans who made her the winner,’ they said in a statement. The pageant’s website now states ‘dethroned’ next to Miss Noe’s name.

The teenager was booked on a flight back to Burma, but failed to show up. The pageant’s organisers are now demanding she hand back their Swarovski tiara.

Miss Noe was unavailable for comment.
