Why drinking water will help you snooze

-

DEHYDRATION can trigger fuzzy short-term memory, headaches and difficulty focusing on the computer screen or on a printed page. And guess what? A lack of water can also make you feel tired. Most of us have become chronically dehydrated, especially the elderly — having decided that water is too bland to drink, they replace it with tea, coffee, beer, wine, fizzy drinks, flavoured water and other chemical-laced water alternatives.

But many of these have a dehydrating effect because of their chemical composition. I recommend my clients drink at least one-and-a-half to two litres (six to eight glasses) of water a day for optimum health and hydration.

If you need another incentive, wrinkles and cellulite are far less noticeable when the skin is well hydrated. Ditch the Botox and just drink water!
