Saints snatch late win thanks to Hohaia drop

-

A BATTLING second half comeback moved St Helens to within a point of collecting the Shield for winning the regular season Super League as they won 13-12 at Leeds. The Rhinos were 12-2 up at half-time thanks to a try by Liam Sutcliffe and the kicking of Kevin Sinfield (below), but Louie McCarthyScarsbrook’s try began the revival. James Roby then scored a try and Lance Hohaia put over a drop goal for the winner. The result put Saints five points clear of Wigan, who suffered a shock 24-10 defeat at Widnes.
