SHE arrived on the music scene as a sweetfaced teenager – but a decade in the industry has transformed Tulisa Contostavlos’s looks.
Now, after much speculation, the former X Factor judge has admitted she has had cosmetic work done – claiming it is widespread in the music industry.
The 26-year-old described yesterday how she had fillers in her cheeks and lips, adding that she was not ashamed to admit it.
The singer, who found fame with hip-hop group N-Dubz, was accused of looking ‘frozen’ when she appeared as a guest judge in this year’s X Factor.
And attending the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards this week, pictured left, it seemed she has taken her makeover further – as her lips seemed even fuller and her forehead free from lines.
Miss Contostavlos told Mail Online yesterday: ‘I’ve openly said it, it’s not like I’m hiding anything. The inside secret is that everybody has something done, but just nobody talks about it. I’m just one of those people who won’t lie and if someone asks me I’m not going to sit there and deny it... yes, of course I have, I like [my lips], that’s all that matters.’
The singer said she decided to overhaul her image before she went on trial accused of supplying Class A drugs. The judge threw out the case in July, saying there were ‘strong grounds’ to believe undercover reporter Mazher Mahmood lied in the witness box.
Miss Contostavlos, who also exercises intensely to complete her new look, said: ‘Having my lips done - I’d always wanted to do it but I was too scared. But then I had all this time on my hands and it wasn’t just my lips, it was the training, losing weight - I needed to channel it into something.’
