Keira’s bumper awards season continues...

- By Sam Creighton

WITH her growing baby bump proudly on show, she looked every inch the glowing mother-to-be.

Keira Knightley, who is expecting her first child, wore a Chanel smock dress with a floral mosaic skirt and high-necked white bodice as she attended yet another awards ceremony over the weekend.

With her hair in a neat braid, the 29year-old actress posed with her husband, Klaxons musician James Righton, 31, on the red carpet at the Producers Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles.

When asked recently what kind of mother she hopes to be, Miss Knightley said: ‘I think it’s very important to raise boys who are feminists and very important to raise girls who don’t expect Prince Charming and allow men to be emotional and weak at points and strong at points.

‘We’re looking for equality and not gender stereotypes. But the real answer is ... I don’t know. It’s one of the thou- sand-million intimidating things I’m thinking about lately.’

Miss Knightley has received several award nominations this season for her turn as wartime code breaker Joan Clarke in The Imitation Game, including Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming Oscars.

But the Producers Guild of America event on Saturday, which focuses on producers rather than stars, was a rare ceremony in which the actress took a backseat.

Her film, which tells the story of Alan Turing and his work to crack the Nazi Enigma code, was nominated for The Darryl F Zanuck Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures, but lost out to dark comedy Birdman. The two films will face each other again at the Oscars, where they are both nominated for Best Picture.
