Kane won’t be dazzled by stardom

- By SAMI MOKBEL

HARRY KANE’S first Premier League hat-trick on Saturday ensured Spurs stayed in the hunt for a top-four finish and increased his chances of starting for England in the coming days.

Club manager Mauricio Pochettino insists, however, there’s no danger of Kane turning into a big-time Charlie.

‘From the beginning of the season I think he impressed us with his human side,’ said Pochettino.

‘His mentality is that he always wants to improve.’

Spurs lost Hugo Lloris early on with a cut knee, but the goalkeeper’s wife eased fears of him being out for long by tweeting: ‘He will be back really soon.’

Meanwhile, Foxes boss Nigel Pearson is likely to escape an FA charge for describing ref Mike Dean as arrogant.
