DJ charged with nine sex attacks

RADIO DJ Neil ‘Dr’ Fox was yesterday charged with nine sex attacks on three girls and three women over a 23-year period.

The former Magic FM presenter and Pop Idol judge is accused of indecently assaulting a girl under 14 and two others under the age of 16.

These three attacks allegedly took place between 1991 and 1996.

The 53-year- old faces six further charges relating to three women, alleged to have taken place between 2003 and 2014. He is charged with four counts of indecent assault on one woman, who was over 16, and two counts of sexual assault against two other women.

Fox, who is married with children, will appear before Westminster magistrates on April 16. He was first arrested in September last year.

The DJ, who categorically denies the allegations, was then questioned for more than seven hours over four alleged offences. At the same time, officers swooped on his £3million Chelsea home.
