Happy birthday princess! Andy’s singalong for Eugenie... via iPad
HIS younger daughter may have been 3,500 miles away but Prince Andrew was still determined to deliver a 25th birthday surprise.
So, in the middle of a function at St James’s Palace yesterday, he used his iPad to call up Eugenie in New York on Facetime. Then the prince got his 400strong audience at an event for entrepreneurs to sing a cheery Happy Birthday To You, accompanied by a trumpeter from the Scots Guards.
Eugenie, wearing a pair of novelty birthday candle glasses and accompanied by her sister Beatrice and mother Sarah, laughed and waved as they appeared on screen in the conference hall. She is in Manhattan working for an online auction house.
