CARLO: BALE’S AGENT IS TALKING TOO MUCH

- By DAVID KENT

real MaDriD manager Carlo ancelotti has told gareth Bale’s agent to keep his mouth shut.

Bale has come under fire for some of his performances this season, including last week’s 2-1 Champions league semi-final first-leg defeat to Juventus.

But the Welsh forward’s agent Jonathan Barnett has suggested Bale has not been given enough of the ball by his real team-mates.

The Welsh star has been linked with a move back to the Premier league but, ahead of tonight’s second leg, ancelotti said: ‘i spoke with him (Bale) a lot of times. He is really happy to stay here.

‘i don’t understand what his agent said. it could be better to not speak. But we are used to it — in this world a lot of people speak and sometimes speak too much.

‘Bale has no problem with his colleagues. They like gareth Bale and he likes his colleagues. There is one word too many perhaps from outside.

‘These people have never seen a training session. They don’t know what it’s like in a dressing room. i think Bale’s played a very good season.’

Team-mate James rodriguez added: ‘ We all want to play with him. Cristiano (ronaldo), Chicharito... we’re all a team and we have to be united. You can’t speculate on what is said outside. We all have to be focused.’

another man linked with a return to england is Paul Pogba and Juventus are confident that he will be fit to start in tonight’s clash. The 22-year- old former Manchester United player scored for the italian champions in Saturday’s Serie a 1-1 draw at home to Cagliari after almost two months out with a thigh injury.

‘Pogba is in good shape,’ said Juventus manager Massimiliano allegri. ‘i think there is a strong chance he will be on the pitch from the start.’

Juve forward Carlos Tevez has scored seven Champions league goals this season, more than in his last five campaigns combined. ‘Tevez is playing an extraordinary season,’ said allegri. ‘He has also become a decisive figure in the Champions league after quite a long barren patch.’
