CAR-MAKER Henry Ford (1863-1947). He developed mass production, and his most famous vehicle was the Model T car. One travelling minister even built a tiny church on his Model T, with a pint-size organ and a fold-down steeple. NOVELIST and poet Emily Bronte (18181848). The Wuthering Heights author was 30 when she died of tuberculos­is. She had become so thin before her death that her coffin was reputedly just 16in wide.
