CAR-MAKER Henry Ford (1863-1947). He developed mass production, and his most famous vehicle was the Model T car. One travelling minister even built a tiny church on his Model T, with a pint-size organ and a fold-down steeple. NOVELIST and poet Emily Bronte (18181848). The Wuthering Heights author was 30 when she died of tuberculosis. She had become so thin before her death that her coffin was reputedly just 16in wide.
