Did supermodel Gisele sneak in for surgery in a burka?
ASuPERMOdEL in a burka is a rare sight, but the ‘Boobs from Brazil’, Gisele Bundchen, is said to have covered herself head to toe in the garment worn by some Muslim women.
The 35-year-old mannequin, who is best known for sporting tiny bikinis on the catwalks of Paris, allegedly made a secret visit to a cosmetic surgery centre, Clinique International du P arc Monceau, in the French capital.
The world’s highest- earning model, with an estimated fortune of £250 million, is said to have attended the clinic with her sister Rafaela before report - edly undergoing plastic surgery costing around £7,000. Both sisters donned burkas in an apparent attempt to disguise their identities.
A source claimed Gisele was concerned that her breasts had sagged after having two children — and the
surgery was a present to herself for her 35th birthday and recent retirement from the runway.
She and her sister, who were apparently dropped off by Gisele’s long-serving driver, clearly didn’t do much research, however. One of them wore open-toed sandals, which strict Muslim women are prohibited from doing, and France has banned the wearing of burkas in public spaces since 2010.
The next day the driver took the pair back to the five- star Bristol Hotel, where they packed up their belongings. He then drove them to the exclusive Les Sources de Caudalie spa, where Gisele recovered for five days.
Once asked if she had ever considered having surgery, Gisele replied: ‘No way. I asked my mother the very same question, and she said: “It’s taken me 58 years for me to look like this. You think I’m going to ruin it now?” She looks great, so I hope I will look the same.’
