I WAS urged to check out The Hen and Chickens on my first night in Birmingham and it did not disappoint. They’ve got everything in one room — a pub, a pool table and a restaurant where they do an absolutely brilliant curry. As Peter Kay (left) said: ‘It’s like garlic bread — the future.’
